Join Our Team – Opportunities in Arboriculture, Irrigation & Horticulture

We are seeking motivated and skilled individuals to join our teams across Arboriculture, Irrigation Construction, and Parks & Gardens. Multiple short-term and ongoing opportunities are available for candidates with relevant experience, licences, and a passion for outdoor and horticultural work.



1. Tree Maintenance Worker (Hydrovac)

Role Overview:

Operate a hydrovac machine to safely expose tree roots, maintain trees, and install root barriers to protect both trees and infrastructure. Support general tree maintenance, including reactive works, block pruning, and ground operations using chainsaws, chippers, and other arboriculture equipment.

Essential Requirements:



MR Truck Licence



Certificate III in Horticulture or relevant horticulture experience

Start Time: 8:30am | Regular Hours: 6:30am – 3:30pm



2. Labourer – Irrigation Construction Team

Role Overview:

Work within a team to construct quality irrigation systems according to design plans and specifications. Support high-quality outcomes for our partners with hands-on work.

Essential Requirements:



MR Licence



Excavator experience



Experience in top dressing trenches and leg ramming

Start Time: 8:30am | Regular Hours: 6:30am – 3:30pm



3. Arborist

Role Overview:

Maintain, prune, and care for trees and streetscapes across parks, reserves, and sporting grounds. Tasks include tree removal, planting, root pruning, and general landscaping. Safe work at heights, operation of specialised machinery, and strong teamwork and record-keeping skills are essential.

Essential Requirements:



MR Truck Licence



Chainsaw Licence



White Card



Working at Heights (up to 11m)

Desirable:



EWP Licence



Electrotechnology Certification



Arboriculture experience

Start Time: 8:30am | Regular Hours: 6:30am – 3:30pm



4. Gardener

Role Overview:

Perform horticulture maintenance activities across parks, gardens, and streets in accordance with maintenance guidelines.

Essential Requirements:



MR Truck Licence



Certificate III in Horticulture

Start Time: 8:30am | Regular Hours: 6:00am – 3:00pm
